About Our Coffee

Using a premium award winning blend of the finest coffee beans available enables us to maintain and grow our loyal client base. The coffee beans we use are roasted dark to bring out the full flavour of the eight origin beans from around the world that make up this smooth and velvety coffee. It has a perfectly balanced profile – mildly acidic, whilst also having excellent depth and body that leaves a pleasant ‘chocolatey’ aftertaste that lingers in your mouth! Makes an outstanding short black with plenty of crema, (crema is the lovely, golden foam of coffee oils that covers a straight shot of espresso, thick with aroma and flavor, it is the sign of proper coffee extraction), and is also ideal for all milk based coffees.

The coffee beans are freshly ground on demand seconds before your coffee is made to ensure maximum freshness. Once we have produced our shot of coffee with a head of golden crema a free pour technique is used to pour the perfectly foamed milk. This is a more professional and efficient way to produce coffee without using utensils.

“Kahuna” as a general name applied to such persons as have a trade, an art, or who practice some profession. Pukui and Elbert, authors of the modern standard Hawaiian dictionary, define a kahuna as a “priest, sorcerer, magician, wizard, minister, expert in any profession (whether male or female).
